I am so bloody hungry! The last time I had a mouthful of kway teow was today, ten thirty am. In other words, I havent ate since that time. Right after school I rushed for gamelan practice. And oh my god, it dragged my whole schedule. Gamelan was suppose to end at five pm or at least latest five thirty pm. However, apparently the teacher took advantage of the day since tomorrow there's no school. Okay and dammit, I feel like a pathetic loser penipu haram. I was suppose to meet a friend and I was late. I have never been late before. It's either I'm early or on time. However, I do believe in the term "fashionably late". Poor thing, he had to wait an hour for my ass to reach woodlands mrt. Okay tomorrow's gonna be a gooood day. Definitely chilling out with my bff [haha] and yeah sleeping over at a friend's house!! Okay today I had to painstakingly cook myself a bowl of maggie noodles. And trust me when it comes to maggie not only it reminds me of Firdaus's curly hair, maggie terbakar, but I can cook excellent maggie. ***
The Excellent-Most-Bestest-Goodest Maggie Recipe
Preparation time: 5 mins Cooking time: 4 mins Eating time: As long as you want to savour each bite! Ingredients- 300 ml of hot water [for fast & effective boiling & cooking]
- 2 packets of Maggie Noodles [any flavour, recomended Curry or Thai Tom Yum]
- 1 egg
- sayur sawi [cai xin]
- bawang goreng [fried shallots]
Method- Pour 300ml of hot water into a pot
- Turn fire to maximum and let water boil [it boils immediately]
- Put in only 1 sachet of the Maggie flavoured stock
- Wash egg while the water is still boiling
- Slow down the fire and crack the egg into the pot
- Once egg is half-cooked [or fully cooked if you prefer] take it out and set it aside
- Put in the two packets of Maggie noodles
- Lastly put in the cai xin [sayur sawi]
- Add in the egg
- Serve in a nice looking bowl
- Sprinkle some bawang goreng [fried shallots]
- And remembered to serve it with a soft-drink =)
And tada! You get yourself a super-nice tasty bowl of maggie =) Firdaus my maggie totally rawks lah!
